Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

3 ripe avocados (Haas if possible, dark skinned)

3 heaped tspns salsa

1 small red onion

1 tomato

1/4 Lemon

Salt

Chilli flakes(optional)

1. Start by deseeding the avocados. I think the best way to do this is to place your knife on the tip of the avocado and cut in until you hit the seed. Now work your way around the avocado following the seed until you meet where you began. Grab the avocado with a hand on each half and twist in opposite directions. If the avocado is ripe it should come apart easily. Keep the seeds as they can be put into the guacamole to keep it from oxidising.

2. Remove the “meat” from the skin and once all thats done place the avocado into a bowl and crush using a fork or potato masher.

3. Dice the red onion and tomato and add them to the guacamole along with the rest of the ingredients. I add the lemon juice and salt to taste and only add a small amount of chilli.

Enjoy.
